Where to? Well, the best things in life are free and are found all over the world. Gather your bags and lets go on a trip and experience the pleasures of what the world offers. But maybe we should start with touring our own country for an adventure of a lifetime.
The first thing that you should consider is the people that you will be bringing along with you. Office mates are out of the question. The company would break if all of the team in the office is going to take a leave. The family is almost always the first choice of many. The only thing that is bad about bringing the whole family is that a family gathering in the wilds can be a very bad idea and can have negative outcomes. So this means that your high school friends are the best gang to go hiking or camping with. Maybe you’ve kept in touch, maybe not. However just about 10 high school buddies can bring about a reunion that could make a blast and could make the trip really enjoyable.
Ten high school classmates sleeping in a 10 person tent? It would be a bust! Sleeping however is out of the question.
Getting the ideal 10 person tent should be the next goal after setting up the crew.
Ten-person tents can sell for a minimum of US$100 to about $1,000. It may not be that cheap but there are ten of you and you can all contribute in buying a durable tent that can fit all ten of you. Let the people bring their own sleeping bags.
Unless of course, the plan is to go to a winter wonderland county then a 4 season tent is necessary. That does not come cheap.
Crew, check! Is the tent ready? Where to? Adventure land is where we’re going.
Choosing the destination can be hard because there are a lot of areas where you can go to.
Some places that you can go to in the Northeast part are the states of NY, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and the state of Michigan.
Try Whispering Pines Campground in Rhode Island where there are not a lot of amenities available so that the source of entertainment is each one of the camper.
Maybe Mid-Atlantic is more your type so the choices are Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
Perhaps the sleepy Greenwood Country in Delaware can wake up with the reunion of class 1990s.
If you want to go south you can drive and check out Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Georgia and Arkansas.
What’s this about driving? Actually you can rent out RVs or vans for your convenience. Commuting can only stress everybody. Anyway, ten people can take turns driving.
For those who want to swim, going to the lakes of Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin and Illinois is perfect.
If you have purchased a 4 season tent you can try it out the the rocky mountains of Montana, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. There is a bit of risk though but it should be fun.
Also you can try out your new 4 season tent in the deserts of Texas, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona.
To wrap it up, pocket a lot of jokes and bring in a lot of good cheers.
Do not think about the stresses in your life at this time so you can enjoy the trip.
You think I forgot about food? There’s no shortage of that because every state has its to-die-for food. Make use of the internet and google the places which you are going to go so you can have more information.
